    For doodling in animation, I draw legs and hips first. When satisfied with animation of legs, I add chest and heads. I add arms as last.

    That's the thing, that is your opinion based on your definition of art, and that is perfectly fine. My opinion in that circumstance is that it isn't, and that's perfectly fine, too.

    If it is beautiful and creatively built, it is art, no matter what it is made of. Therefore, your example is art.
