Oh the weather outside is frightful... 🔥
It's December and cold in the US. Perfect weather for a warm fire! And thanks to a recent(ish) tweet, I've been inspired to create procedural fire:
No particles or smoke simulation - only about 2 dozen shader nodes. In this stream we will recreate the material from scratch and tweak it to look like a candle flame and a raging fire.
ketre You're right. CGI as an art will always be appealing to me. And it has many career opportunities outside of movies. Even inside if the artist is OK with the lifestyle
so an average actor gets what for a main role in a movie?
Do they ?
They do sell it on Amazon, though
Some Pirulin
ttobles lol yikes..If it was a photo-real close-up shot, 10K is pretty cheap
Some what?
Shame Spikey, I will have to mail people some
For the John Wick movie they made a cgi dog poop that cost 10k
CGI is amazing, and to me starting late in life its taking me a long time to comprehend and put things into action. To think that its underrated when I see CG graphics in almost every movie made now is sad. But I don't think that will hinder the desire to push forward.
