The goal of week 1 is to get familiar with Blender 2.8 and model your chosen asset. If you're brand new to Blender it's very important that you spend time each day of this week getting comfortable with Blender's interface. Once you're comfortable, you will have a more enjoyable experience learning and practicing modeling.

Breaking in is always the hardest part, but persist and it'll pay off.
I got into blender originally because it was FREE. Very important to me as a hobbyist. I can't afford the life my wife and kids have......yet.....lol

@ritag My brother-in-law works is let's say "industrial project manager" and use CAD sort of things. He knows about 3D software and advised me to give Blender a go when I told him I wanted to start 3D
When I first started learning Blender, I was struggling. When I persisted, it got easier.
