This stream is part of week 1 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"
The goal of week 1 is to get familiar with Blender 2.8 and model your chosen asset. If you're brand new to Blender it's very important that you spend time each day of this week getting comfortable with Blender's interface. Once you're comfortable, you will have a more enjoyable experience learning and practicing modeling.

[Q] As a beginner, it's sometimes a little hard to know if your comments are useful, or even needed. I'm for example very shy in grading exercise submissions (for the ones I've already done myself)
Alternatively spend an hour a day not doing Blender.
Same idea with sketchbooks, but for 2D stuff.
Polybooks are forum threads users make to show the various projects they're doing as they're in progress. It's not for any particular class.
Polybooks are like work in progress threads to get feedback or show off work, etc.
