The goal of week 1 is to get familiar with Blender 2.8 and model your chosen asset. If you're brand new to Blender it's very important that you spend time each day of this week getting comfortable with Blender's interface. Once you're comfortable, you will have a more enjoyable experience learning and practicing modeling.

btw, is there anybody who knows why my exercise from "Color shifting" is still being graded? Been so since Wednesday and all my other submissions where graded within the day :s

Yeah I've seen some of the demo vids and they're outrageous
So no I haven't tried it recently but am thrilled that he's going to be full time on it

The latest Linux is working for me...
I tried getting the linux branch working from about 2 months ago but could not. I'm still catching up from being on vacation last week and I still need to watch the Blender today with him as a guest

ive got 13 meg grabbed in 20 mins lol. but mind you, living in the middle of nowhere in the highlands its not an infrastructure hub ;)
