In this Unity 4.6 tutorial we’ll take a look at how to create RPG style damage points. Using the new UI system we’ll animate and script UI text and images to display once a hit is registered on our zombie character. Using colliders, tags and a raycast we’ll be able to detect when we’ve hit a specific area of our character. Each area will have specific damage points that will show with a special “critical” image that will flash when we hit the head. Included in the Sources files are the HD videos for this course.
