When I add the path it doesn't seem to be the correct size for the chain. So when I set the Array modifier to Fit Curve, my chain of 100 chain links disappears and I see only 1 chain link. This means I cannot slide the curve as you suggested (3 units across)...This also means that then when I pull the curve , I have to pull it a lot further than what the chain grows. I have tried adjusting the scale of the line to the same scale as the chain link in the main properties, but this doesn't seem to work. Please let me know what I could be doing wrong.
