I don't have Photoshop, I've been trying my best to avoid it until I'm ready to look for employment.
I tried porting the CG Cookie Chalk brush to 3 different software, all of them had problems.
Clip Studio Paint didn't have the right texture, & Corel Painter was just a pain. I settled with Krita’s Default Chalk Brush, I think it turned out well. I’m seeing real value in familiarizing myself with multiple software, one program cant do everything. Despite Krita being free, it’s paint program is better than my go to software CSP. Everyone says Corel Painter is the best although it has a real learning curve, I'm just going to bite the bullet & find some tutorials after this.
