I want to finish chapter 1 of the treasure chest tutorial first and will start to post progress for my homework afterwards.
I decided to model the sword and I want to make it in a WOWish style.
Some deathknight runeswords I want to use as reference:
Now these things look mean, I'm really looking forward to you capturing their likeness!
Finished chapter 1 of the Treasure Chest course. I pretty much followed to course one to one, nothing too fancy as I wanted to purely focus on learning the things useful for the sword. I will add some more details later, like some dents on the top metal pieces. The chest will have a suprise once I´m finished, though. The chain of the chest is a hint for anyone who has played Darksouls :3
And now it´s time for drawing some sword concepts! I hope I can show you some this evening!

@theluthier since I love to draw and want to be able to make concept art one day, I just had to try to make a design on my own :) Don´t be too quick with the A++. My drawing skills are way better than my modelling skills and it will be a huge challenge for me to model this sword properly, but I appreciate your enthusiasm :D
