Hey everyone!
When CG Cookie first started we loved to host Pumpkin and Snowman contests. It was cool to see what everyone created with these given constraints. Of course using Blender was a pretty rad thing as well.
My favorite was the nod to the movie Aliens done in a pumpkin render. If somebody could find this, it would be cool to see again!
I missed them so much, this year we've decided to revisit the past, with the launch of our brand new Epic Pumpkin Contest!
While nearly all the information and activity takes place on the Contest itself, I thought it would be beneficial to have an area for questions and general OMG this is amazing type comments. Plus we're a tad rusty on hosting contests. 🧐
In all seriousness, this is one of favorites and excited to see what you come up with this year. We've got a ton of awesome awards lined up for you and even some random chances to win by simply sharing your work on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #MyCookiePumpkin

ssleekdigital Hey there! To update your entry, head over to the contest page and click the edit your entry link in the top banner. From there if you're looking to update the render, check the "remove image" check-box and click update entry. Once you do this, you'll be able to re-upload an updated image.
Of course if that is giving you trouble, we can work to delete the entry from our back-end and let you upload a fresh one!
@wesburke question after the contest does each person who entered gets feedback on what was good and not or will that not happen ?
yyukinoh1989 thanks for asking this, we won't be able to provide direct feedback on each entry, but perhaps adding it to the gallery and or if you have a forum thread to get some feedback from the community + instructors would be the best medium. I will do my best to make my rounds!

Halloween is tomorrow! (Depending on when you're reading this) This also marks the end of the pumpkin contest. There have been a lot of great entries coming in and a few on social that haven't made their way over yet. The cut-off time is Midnight Chicago time on the 23:59 OCT 31st
Judging will then take place, and I am anticipating winners will be contacted middle of next week, with winners announced by the end of next week.
Again, congrats for participating in this contest. Contest are a great way to flex some creativity given time/theme constraints. 👍

@wesburke Hi! I tried to update my entry by removing the image, but it remained the same, I also tried to edit the text but it didn't change either. Could you please help me by removing the current image so I can upload the updated one? thanks in advance :)
