My homework thread for the October Class-shop.
Homework Submission Week #1
Did this a long while ago.
Another one done a long while ago.
One more day of modeling, methinks, and I'll be ready to shade. Mirrors and that blasted front grill section.
silentheart00 Nice, it will look mega awesome once it shaded! Can go straight in that portfolio you've been working on for grad school 😬
silentheart00 Your model looks really amazing. Makes me wanna try it myself. But I guess that is something for the future since modelling AND shading might be too much for this week's homework - at least for me. You seem to handle it pretty well.
silentheart00 Damn this is coming together reeeeal nice. You gonna be doing the interior as well?
bun-bun This was from waaay back from one of the other classes. I've just been dragging my heels on this project. What better way to get a fire under your butt than these deadlines? I have a wicked cool paint scheme, too, so hopefully I can get that done, too.
thecabbagedetective Uh, no. It's going to have tinted windows... everywhere... lol
silentheart00 Haha fair enough my dude, looking forward to the final result!
This isn't exactly correct, but there are no good references for the headlight section so I did my best guess. I suppose I could go to a dealership and say I'm looking at cars. If only there was a local car show or something where people wouldn't mind me looking at their cars lol. But anyway.
Shhh, we don't need mirrors....
silentheart00 It looks totally believable, challenge of no good references well solved 👍🏻 And who needs mirrors? Living on the edge!! 😎
silentheart00 The exterior is pretty much done now, right? Oooo boy, now we're getting to the good stuff! But yeah no worries about the headlights they look totally believable to me.
silentheart00 Why is that a pain? I was enjoying modeling the first bike. So I am curious why is that pain to you?
silentheart00 Looks amazing already! Can't wait to see the end result 😃
mmahir07 It was a pain making sure everything lined up and I don't have that much of an interest in modeling vehicles anyway. Getting the hood blister right took several tries and internet images couldn't give me information that I wanted if I just went to a dealership and took some pictures or be a weirdo and look at someone's car in a parking lot. If I was forced to model a car again, I would, but I'll stick with characters for now.
