This is the beginning frame of an animation I did using Blender cell fracture.
The cup material is a Cycles procedural material using Layer Weight, Color Ramp, And Fresnel nodes.
The model is by Jay-Artist. It is available at Blendswap.com (Break-Time! Cycles).
Any and all comments are welcome.
interesting color, material!
Thank you for taking a moment to share some love with me. I love the smell of fresh coffee in the morning but I much prefer to drink tea. The model, including tea packet textures, was built by by Jay-Artist. It is available at Blendswap.com (Break-Time! Cycles). I modeled the Cell-Fracture animation and the materials. The spoon is my favorite part. Thank you again for the love. ;)
I love this, and I especially love the cup. The tea packets are great & I want some of that tea!
Thank you for the positive comments. I like transition of warm to cool colors similar to the way a prism separates light by wavelength. I am glad you liked it.
Thank you. I expect to post the animation eventually.
Thank you for the positive comment. I tried to model it after my recollection of antique Bauer china, porcelain china, and Raku china.
I thought about your question. The color is determined the angle of the surface to the camera. This would give you an interesting effect but not a realistic insect eye. Thank you for taking time to comment.
This is a very interesting render! Like you have a heat signature thing going on! I dig it!!
Very nice shader on the cup! I´m shure it looks amazing in an animation.
Very nice shot indeed!
The cup came out amazingly beautifull. It reminds me of some materials I spotted in chinese tourist shops.
