mmahir07 Very well done! And good to hear you enjoyed the sculpting, learning is a lot easier when you have fun doing it 😊

Question to be sure, you won't be doing Melvin? and the Primitives ?

mmahir07 Looks good as far as I can tell.

ssmurfmier1985 I was wondering the same should i do it? is that necessary. And yeah that's 100% true learning is a lot easier when you enjoy it

mmahir07 Excellent sculpt of Clementine! Very clearly defined, recognizable facial shapes. Definitely an A in my book.

You and ssmurfmier1985 bring up a grading conundrum: Technically the face sculpt is only extra credit according to the homework assignment. But clearly you know how to sculpt well and you spent time practicing to accomplish the head, which is the only real point to the homework in the first place. Considering that, do I interpret your skill as bypassing the explicit rules of the assignment and give you A or should I stick to the rules and give a lesser grade?

I'm inclined to give the A but I can also understand someone else being offended by that since technically the rules weren't followed.

I run into these dilemma's in my head all the time when grading. Grading is hard.

@theluthier Thank you for your awesome feedback! Very happy with it :)

And i actually had forgotten about that. I realized that later. Next time i will be careful and wont break the rules.

OK i did it. Haha! Sorry for being late but still...

mmahir07 Primitives look pretty decent.  The cube corners could be sharper, the cone is a little wobbly and the base doesn't look quite circular, the sphere actually looks pretty good.  Good work.

  • smurfmier1985 replied

mmahir07 hey just in time for the deadline, nicely done! 😀

  • Mahir Tasin(mahir07) replied

silentheart00 Thank you i could have spent some more time on it but i was too lazy haha

  • Mahir Tasin(mahir07) replied

    ssmurfmier1985 Yeaahhhh 😀

mmahir07 Heh well thanks for going ahead and doing it. You've crossed the T's and dotted the I's. Definitely earned the A this week, Mahir 👍

  • Mahir Tasin(mahir07) replied

I'm trying to do this. I know it doesn't look that good haha but i am trying

    mmahir07 >Lookin good!

mmahir07 She's coming along! It looks like you're deviating from the original design quite a bit. I approve of that choice; being inspired but ultimately making something unique 👍
