how can you enable bloom in version 4.5.3 LTS?

    I believe for the moment it's an post effect, meaning you have to add it in compositing. It's just a glare node you drop in. Martin will probably know if they put it in again for Blender 5.0

    Oh, I don't think that Bloom setting for EEVEE is ever coming back. You'll have to use the Compositor, like Omar says, just Add a Glare Node.

    It's really easy to use and the result is very close to Cycles.

    If you want bloom in Blender 4.5.3 LTS, the simplest approach is to use the Compositor: enable Use Nodes, add a Glare node set to Bloom, and tweak Threshold, Size, and Intensity until it looks right, making sure your materials have strong emission; I’ve done this myself, and starting with a bright emissive object makes all the difference for a noticeable effect.
