what's the key to set preview range in global range?

i clicked the clock icon but at 4:10 how are you setting that range just clicking i cant seem to be able to do it with just mouse left click? tried shift ctrl alt / also ia m using 4.5lts

With the Clock Icon enabled, the Hotkeys are the same as without it:

CTRL+HOME and CTRL+END.

Solution

Yeah, so it's P to enable the preview range, box select your range, then Control Home and Control End to set the range and ALT + P to clear it all.
