This will probably be my final update on this x-wing project. I may render out a short animation and add an R2 droid in the back but I'm not sure how to take it to the next level right now. So I think it is time to move on to something new and follow a few lessons before coming back to this. I had a lot of fun, and never thought even 3 months ago I'd be able to make something that resembles an x-wing. So even though this is "finished" please leave your feedback, criticisms, and/or suggestions below.
Yeah its a good idea to move on when you feel like you've added enough. The result if good, you fixed the pattern of the grunge texture, now it feels more realistically distributed. What stands out to me the most is the lighting, it is entirely lit from all over, no room for shadows. If you have a bit of energy left, you could try a little last experimentation and just play with one light source and let shadows do their thing and see how it turns out. If not, move onto another project. Thumbs up man 👍🏼
