  • I was just being silly as well. This certainly isn't a piece inviting one to linger on the railing. ;)

  • I love the color and light. The Motion and peril are boldly stated and eminent. It is a wonderful image. The physics don't work. The direction of the wind relative to the anchor and sail. the size of the waves in the background relative to the foam on the hull and anchor. The ship would have to be moving astern fast to bring the anchor to the surface. Of course none of that matters at all. It is a great scene. Bravo. ;)

  • I might have to ask you to explain seasick in a good way. ;)
I started with the anchor and then followed your sequence.

  • I was looking to see where my eye would be taken. The anchor redirects me to the sunlight which moves me to the boat again, where I began. Compositionally sound, and I it is clear to me that for a movement study you succeeded in both dynamic motion and composition. This piece is so wonderfully turbulent and the sunlight is a nice touch because not only does it help point you back to the ship but is (while diagonal and thus dynamic) a kind of stability element that contrasts with the chaos in the subject. Beautiful, well executed, and just a cool subject. Definitely succeeds in making feel almost seasick (in a good way). Where's my life preserver?
