Looking for a way to pose the revolver in different angles in one render. Just an idea I wanted to try. Feel free to scrutinize.
I have to work on a laptop and can't see very well so please let me know if colors, composition sucks, it will help me gauge at my end what I think looks okay, maybe doesn't.
I do a black and white version most times as I like the way it often looks better than the colored version. I need to work on colors still
Blender 4.5, with some decals and Affinity Photo 2 for post processing
Just thought I'd give where the idea of Shifty I's came from. I saw this target and where it looks like the bullseye was hit once or twice, the other shots were way off. I imagined the guys friends started teasing him and one friend nicknamed him Shifty I (eye) and it stuck. His name starts with an I, and he eventually opened up the gun club with the nickname.
The B/W works super well for this kind of render.
The revolver on the left throws me off a bit as it's just kind of floating there. I think a little adjustment like just moving it down a tad so it sits on the bullet box would make a big difference.
I know what you mean. I placed it there like it's being loaded, like someone's invisible hand is holding it there. Trying to place the gun in a perspective that you're holding it to load it, kinda feel. That's what I tried to do, anyway.
Makes sense. In that case maybe drop the grip out of frame with a slight rotation, pretending that's where the hand is and pull the visible bullet out a hair like it's in the middle of the process of being loaded.
Good call. Yeah, rotating it to be angled more on the right face of the gun in a more upward direction makes sense. I did also want to capture a close up of the back of the gun and the handle. Thanks for the feedback. Love your work, great portfolio
Thanks. No, I'll keep the handle in frame. It's an invisible hand as when you're adding bullets you normally don't hold it by the handle, you cradle the body in your hand and use your thumb to turn the cylinder. Thanks for the suggestion
The revolvers are much better now, Nice.
