After finishing the PRESS START course I wanted to apply and challenge myself on using the skills I had learned. I decided to make simple object and chose the Sakuma Drop - Candy Jar from one of the most heartbreaking films: The Grave of Fireflies. I am still unexperienced with texturing and you can see clearly a line running where the color and the logo intersect. Also there is no weathering on the jar which I am looking forward on learning how to do as well as texturing candies better.
I remember seeing that movie a long time ago, thinking the kids where having fun on their own being free, man was I wrong. Super sad movie. Good work on the render 🤙🏼
