Quirky Pet Portraits Final

6 loves

For a while I was both thinking about drawing quirky portraits for my pets, and trying to learn Grease Pencil. So when Paul talked me into taking DRAW! I figured, why not?

Plus, three dogs gave me the chance for some welcome repetition, since Grease Pencil proved to be different enough inside of Blender. Lots to get used to.

Apu, our first dog, was the fastest pup under the sun! So she got lighting bolts. ⚡️

Kona is a little diva... we can't say no to those floppy ears and it shows 😅. So sparkles for our little princess. ✨

And Maia is our forever silly puppy. She will never grow old, and she will quite literally chase bubbles and brooms alike. 🫧

  • Love them all! A world without dogs would be so pointless.
    Moosey approves too.

      Thanks Sascha, I couldn't agree more :)
And a Moosey seal of approval? That's the way to start a great week!

  • Super, I love your doggies !

Nice, you finished it. Kona the little diva is my favorite one, then Apu and then Maia. All they know is food and belly rubs, if they knew they also get portraits made on transistors and zero's and one's turning on and off, visualized in pixels made of light on a screen, they'd be like yeah don't care where's my food.

Fun fact: Kona is my favorite too. Don't tell her that though, her ego is big enough as is. 😅
Shading is by far the hardest thing for me... Maia being white, and the first of the attempts.. I feel like I might have to come back and redo hers.

And yep, absolutely right on that. Yeah, don't care... either let me go play outside or hand me a treat, lady! 😂
