My completed take on the Luminor camera course. One thing I liked about the course was the deceptive simplicity. It really shows what you do with relatively basic shapes and procedural materials. Lighting does a lot of the heavy lifting to bring it to life.
Wow! love the closeup shots, great work!
10/10! Thank you for taking the course and creating this beautiful model. Great materials, lights and post processing. Amazing renders. Great job! :)
Thank you! Really enjoyed the course. Was waiting for it to release for a while and jumped on it as soon as soon as I had the free time 😆
The leather texture! 👀
Incredible result!!
But I agree with Omar... go out and get yourself a new camera, preferably one that hasn't been in a war zone. Lol
Thank you! It has a lot of history 😆
Lovely renders. The degradation/wear on the decals works particularly well. Being picky I find the bump a bit too much in places... most noticeably on the lens in the 4th render.
Thank you! And in retrospect, I agree. I think the lens material is the one I could've put more time into.
Wow so much juicy details. 10 out of 10 texture work and render presentation. And please buy a new camera, this one is no good no more.
Bit rough around the edges but still performs where it counts! 😆
Thank you!
That is a glorious result! Absolutely stunning.
Looks like that camera has been through some tough times. Imagine the images taken with it.
Thank you! I have a similar-ish camera up on a shelf behind my desk. It's not quite as beat up but pretty close 😆
Absolutely stellar result
Thalestr! I'm going to send you an email about adding this project to our 2026 Student Reel Candidate list 👀
Thank you so much! 😁
