This is our den with a climbing wall for our cats. We put kitty treats up there and they get to climb and have fun. The bookshelves took the longest to populate.
I love all the details in this one. But why is the sofa so far from the wall? Pets (cats and dogs) could probably get through much smaller spaces as long as they're small enough. The way things are, 2 of the 3 pillows on top of the back almost seem like they're floating rather than leaning against the wall.
Love that the books and movie spines and coveres aren't blank! Overall, great job!
Hi Grady! Thanks for the compliments. Ahh, the sofa. That was the first thing I modeled on this project and it is the most blocky thing. The real life one does have a bit of a recline to it. Unfortunately, our girl kitty gets picked on by the two boy cats so that gap is a place for her to seek refuge and also, our particular sofa has reclining backs except for the middle seat, so there needs to be room for the seat to not scrape the wall. You are right, that blue pillow needs a contact shadow to keep it from defying gravity. We put the pillows there keep the tossed cat toys from getting lost in the abyss behind the couch. Gotta keep those kitties entertained. Haha.
Not to worry, the fireplace is electronic as well. Haha! Here in Florida the heat from the hearth is mostly optional.

Fun probable fact, no humans live here, it's just cats. Who knows, maybe a cat posted this and not a human. Who ever did it, it's an amazing job. Top Cat would be proud.
