Hugo...Hugo...HUGO!! Your portrait skills are on a rocket ship to the moon. Brilliant, brilliant work. The core likeness, the endless details, render quality. Stunning!
Of course I have to send you an email about being featured in this year's student reel. Keep an eye out! 👀
Love the detail in this! Almost curious... did you use a texture that already had a stripe patter on the tie or did you do that in Blender? And the stitched embellishments on the vest and the button... wow... very impressive! Won't be surprised at all to see this as a staff selection soon!
Hello! Since I sculpted the tie from a sphere the UVs didnt match up to a even square shape as if i had started from a plane and for example simulated. So what i did was nudging the UVs enough for the fabric texture to not look too distorted and then painted the stripes on in Substance Painter.
Chapeau bas, Monsieur, Bravo!
Merci!

Thank you Kent - it means a lot! I'm working hard to improve my character art and there's still much to learn!
Wow likeness achieved and surpassed. Excellent result!

This is excellent!
The proportions all look good, and the detail in the skin and fabric materials is superb. I even like the wild spikey hair!
Spikey hair took a lot of effort, so thank you!
WOW! Just WOW!
Thank You!
