Here's my latest project. These are pot of nerve plants or Fittonia species. I was inspired by the free leaf texture on Poliigon and by just how tiny these plants are.
I am open to any comments or critiques. I am still not happy with some of the pot textures and would like to add more detail. But overall I am pleased and want to work on my next project.
Textures are from Poliigon, Textures.com, Texture Haven and the old Nature Academy Course.
I am still working out the size of the leaves myself, but I think the images on Google give the impression they are larger than real life. I saw some in a hardware store and the leaves were the size of my little finger nail. I am thinking of enlarging them in the render to help them read better. And you're that the color is a bit washed out.

This looks very nice. I looked for Fittonia in google and they seems to have way bigger leaves. You could definitely use some more colour to them, they look like dying, give them some life :)
