Exo-Constructor: The Exoskeleton Mech for Construction Final

6 loves

Personal project inspired by Corto Rudant's(https://www.artstation.com/corto) Mech boy character,

I spent approximately a month creating this character using Blender for modeling and ZBrush for adding details and retopology. The clothing was designed using Marvelous Designer and Zbrush, and textured using Substance Painter, finally rigged and rendered using blender.

Story: In a future where construction and engineering projects have become more dangerous and demanding, a company has developed the ultimate solution. This cyborg construction worker is designed to handle any job, no matter how challenging. Equipped with advanced technology and powerful tools, Exo-Engineer is able to work tirelessly, efficiently, and safely. It has an AR headset equipped with advanced features, while the black cut-proof clothing provides protection from the job's hazards.

  • good job man, did you rig it aswell? would be so cool to see the hard surface part move

Thanks! well, I did rig the whole piece, but individual moving parts were a bit too much for me to handle. I spent a lot of time watching YouTube videos and trying to figure out constraints, but eventually gave up and published it. The energy it took was just too much. 😓

It's so cool. Sounds like the beginnings of the robots uprising and taking over the world though. I'd put a failsafe mechanism on him. Really great job.

Thanks Omar! I'll be sure to add a Sarah Connor to the mix and make sure the robots don't take over the world just yet :3. Glad you liked it though!
