I think you nailed the lower ground background Thibault. I was wondering how you would pull that off but the sense of depth is there and doesn't take away from the foreground. Another solid work!
The background is just a drawn plane with low saturation and contrast and a slight blue tint. That kind of does the job. I used some google earth views to replicate the correct coast lines and fields.
