Am a very new beginner. Working through the CORE fundamentals mesh modeling course and wanted to practice hard surface modeling and tools I've learned so far. Found a desk and a lamp online (Ikea and Wayfair) and modeled both for practice. Will add more to the scene as I progress! And maybe some additional items. Lamp: https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/everly-quinn-dimmable-table-lamp-with-usb-and-touch-control-w007726818.html?piid=433185636 Desk: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/tonstad-desk-oak-veneer-30538198/
Update 3/16/26: modeled a simple little pothos plant, added textures to desk and lamp.
Great first results Vanessa. That lamp feels very smooth, good topology and modeling going on here.
Thank you so much Omar! It was a lot of fun to do and good practice for me with using curves and booleon modifier.
