Thanks @pkaron! It is autobiographical. Digging through Pinterest I had another figure picked out, but when I saw this guy, the backstory just fell into place :D
n3b For me, the hardest part was restarting the robe/shirt a couple times. It took my 3rd attempt to get it looking decent. Also, I'm disappointed with my texturing. I wasn't able to paint fine details, as artifacts were popping up everywhere--so I ended up just doing a basic paint job. I think to fix that I'd have to retopologize and _not_ do a Smart UV unwrap next time.
He definitely looks worn from all of his work and responsibilities, but his expression definitely follows through with his bio. When it came to modeling, what was the hardest part for you to get right?
