Bella Work In Progress

3 loves

Color graded with Lightroom! This is my first portrait, unfinished, but thought I'd share since I've put so much work into it. Took me around 10 days and I'm halfway through the human course. I started this portrait a little before the course, and I wouldn't have gotten ANY close to a realistic result without the course lol. I'll show a comparison what it looked like before the course and after when I'm finished. ๐Ÿ˜‚ The texture in this render is too strong and the skin looks too rough. The hairstyle is unfinished, no bottom eye lashes and I'm still going to work on clothing and background.

Also when color grading I lost a bit of the subsurface effect on the skin, which gives that nice redness to the ears. So I'll most likely bump that up a bit!

  • Unfinished it may be, but I think I can recognise Bella Hadid already.๐Ÿ˜‰
Well, once again, I just canโ€™t resist saying it to anyone whoโ€™s done the โ€˜humanโ€™ course: good luck at beating Kent in photorealism. โ€˜We are what they grow beyond,โ€™ the ghost of Yoda says in The Last Jedi: so, Iโ€™d like to be able to congratulate Kent as a teacher when I see his student grow beyond him.๐Ÿ˜

Oh man, you just made my day! Especially for recognizing the model for my 3D portrait, which I was definitely hoping somebody would recognize.
Your comment is a huge motivation for me to keep going! Appreciate you

You could've fooled me that it was the finished result and not a work in progress, it looks great already. Keep it up man ๐Ÿค˜
