I wanted to try my hand at making grass; so I did. Following a tutorial has helped in that I did not have to worry about other things (composition, lighting..) and could concentrate on the grass itself.
I've created 3 different types of grass with 4 variations of each to use in particle systems. The biggest challenge was creating materials! I've got clolour gradients, glossy and translucent mixed up but the result is not right....If anyone has got any ideas on how to improve that, please share! :)
maybe a small adjustment in the clump value. i think it looks pretty good though
