Have I clicked something I shouldn't have in my profile or is it intentional that the forum post order is now backwards? Only wondering because I got a shock when I just came on now and every post I read was in backwards order of time/date.....
The @ mentions are working as we all dreamed they would. I click it and no longer have to look for the needle because CGCookie just gave us all Super Magnets!!!!
What do you mean Shawn ? When I type @ and then a letter then I get a list of names starting with that letter just like it's always done...or am I missing something?
No problem @theluthier , appreciate it. I'm sure there are many ways to go about it but you will struggle to find one that suits everybody. If I was to offer my personal suggestion then it would be a button at the top of every threads first page that takes you directly to the most recent post or something along those lines,.
I don't hate the new format , I can easily get used to it , I just find it very un-natural reading conversations in reverse order. But that is only my opinion and there are many other people on here so just work things however suits you to try to cater for everyone :)
Oh sorry. I meant when you click one of your notifications that said someone @ mentioned you, then it takes you right where it happened. No more searching for that post that someone commented directly to you.
Im lovin the new forum fixes. now I can just click on replies or mentions and it goes right to it. lol I had 58 events today.🧐
Looks like it works if you click on general replies as well. You just have to click on the reply and not the forum posting.
It also work on old posts!
