Using ref images like cartoon head, logo on render posts in ig, fb ,other

Collaborations

Hi, I just finished the cartoon head and am planning to post my render/work on ig.  Is it ok to use the ref images/logo on my renter post on ig  esp if i make it small like in top corner of post so people can see what i was starting from?  I will also tag cgcookie ig if its ok.

Also, I expect it'd be alright to post my attempt here too and get ya'll's recommendations on improvements?  I  thought i'd  come back and try this one again without watching as much as i can after completing the gun exercise  to try and learn as much as I can and the same for the gun before I start the Husky puppy exam.  Any recommendations ?

Thanks

Curtis

posting it here is exaclty what you need to do to get recommendations and such...

What are your thoughts about posting exercise renders  on ig ,fb etc when you followed instruction  to create the model/scene like this as opposed to doing all the work yourself?  I feel like as long as I own up to the fact I followed via instruction/tutorial on the post  it is alright .

you gotta start somewhere and if you give credit where credit is due you should be good to go...

    Absolutely! Go for it :)

That's an excellent idea. Not everyone has the patience for that, but by doing so you're going to learn a lot faster. Good luck!
