Dragging the key while restricting movement to X

Hi Wayne

When I copy a key with Shift + D and then drag it along the timeline while holding X, my cursor starts jumping all over the place.
Looks like a graphics bug.
I'm using Blender 2,82a on a Windows PC.

Any Idea why?

Thanks for a great course.

Can you take a screen recording of this, Michael?
It will help to see what's going on.

I don't think you're suppose to hold X. Have you tried just pressing it once and moving?

  • Wayne Dixon replied

No you are not meant to hold X in the Timeline as it is always constrained to the horizontal axis, however, if you hold X it shouldn't do anything at all. So this might be a bug.  Not sure until I 'see' what's happening ;)

    Hi Friends
    Matt P is right!
I was holding down the X-key while dragging the animation key.
When I just press the X-key once the copied animation key behaves as expected.

I tried recording the flickering of the graph several times with Snagit but the flickering is so fast it doesn't turn up in the recording.
    Sorry aboyt that Wayne.

Thanks for your time and help.
    Michael
