How to combine all objects into one

Like in the real world the gun was assembled from several separate objects what would be the appropriate way to combine the objects into one?

@cpmodling I’ll try to provide some guidance.
I am not realy sure if they “need” to be one object.

In real life that gun would still consist of multiple pieces fit together to look like one.

The appropriate way is probably not an easy way. However there are a few options.

If you are just looking for 1 combined object you can select all and join them into 1 using Ctrl + j

If you want all of the meshes to flow into each other you could go about it a few different ways. Maybe join - remesh with voxel or quad - retopologize

Like Shawn mentioned, you can select all your objects and use Ctrl+J to join. I don't remember if I do this or not in the last video or whether that's in the weapon rigging course instead, but it's generally a good idea to combine your objects before exporting. You just want to be sure that you do it after you've finished baking and texturing because that may require you to move or hide different parts while you work. Hope that helps!
