This is the day everything goes wrong. In this tutorial i am not getting the same result. At about 4.27 you have just added a modulo, a subtract, a divide and a value node. You put them together and say "lets redo the same for the y axes". You pause the video and when you are back you have a set of white circles going on both axes. In my wievport the plane now turns black. I have tried to apply scale, and i have looked over more than ten times.
Well ok, after redoing the material from scratch it seems to be ok. But i am 110% sure the setup was correct the first time, so i dont know what went bad!

Good to know you somehow fixed it :) Did you change the size of the plane at some time ? Even with applied scale, if the dimension is much smaller than the figures involved this can happen. You can increase the size of the plane in edit mode (like 10 times) for example, then you should be able to see around several dots (by default 1 dot has a diameter of 1 unit).
