Nothing is snapping. Pls help.

More information is needed than you provided.
What steps do you take when you try to use snap function ?
Do you use custom keyboard shortcuts ?
I use both versions 2.8 and 2.81 and snapping works fine.
I see you have toggled on the snapping in UI. In this case do not use CTRL, because it will disable the snapping while the key is pressed. When using CTRL you dont need to have snapping turned on in the UI (magnet icon).
Hi shanr. Snapping settings look ok. (You don't need to have the roboOrb_sculpt selected, but it shouldn't matter as to how the snapping works.)
But from this angle I cannot see that snapping is not working. Are you sure?
In your last image there is nothing 'below' the two verts to snap to. Snapping works from your viewing angle.
