I'm currently in 12th grade and currently conducting a quantitative research about the efficiency of using photogrammetry in creating a digi double that could be used for Indie Film Making. I was just wondering if I could have you guys (the staff) be my respondents?
It's currently in a very early stage of development but I wanted to do something new, something innovative with my research. Although photogrammetry is a technique already employed in film, it's not something seen in the Arts Industry from where I live so that's what motivated my research. The biggest problem I see is getting the respondents as from where I live, nobody knows much about film development, much less photogrammetry.
The research might require you to use photogrammetry and test out its efficiency since that's what I'm researching about. I believe even if my research doesn't succeed, it'll give the CGCOOKIE staff something new to chew on and maybe include in one of your tutorials.
Details pertaining to my research are very vague here, but I just wanna know if it's possible to have the team as my respondents. I'll come back and elaborate on specific details pertaining to the research as soon as possible so that I can answer any queries you guys might have about it.
Hey, sounds like a cool project! While we definitely hope to dive more into photogrammetry in the future, it's not something Kent or I can devote time to at the moment since it's not something we actively use in our day-to-day work. I'd love to hear how the research goes, and how you tackle the subject!
