In keeping with the "nostalgia" theme of other threads, here is my very first official Blender project (July 2012). A little embarrassing.

Abstract experiment with Cycles materials.

Eclipse fever! (OK, nothing to do with Blender...) Notice the shape of all the leaf shadows.
