I'm not sure what issue you're having, you'll need to provide more information. In the project files you should find Unity packages which you can double click to open in Unity.
It's trying to create a new project when you click on it. Create a new blank project, then double click on one of the Unity packages. Sometimes Unity hangs up if it needs to create the project first so having a new project already created will resolve the issue.
