would a wine stopper that allows me to pump air out of the bottle of material also extend the shelve life. Would it remove enough just as we do with wine?Like the Rabitt.

I'm not familiar with that wine stopper, so it's a bit hard to answer that question. I'm assuming you're trying to find a way to omit the gas blanket?
I would say try it ans see how it goes, to be honest. If the wine stopper essentially pumps out enough air to create a vacuum in the container of the resin you might be able to extend the material's shelf life, but from where I'm sitting this is merely guesswork. From an experimental standpoint, however, I'd say it's worth a shot.
