What would be the difference in connecting vertices at 2:49 using 'f' as usually opposed to the use of 'j' presented here?

Hey Bartosz, 'F' will create an edge between the vertices but not split the face. 'J' will split the face. Try both next to each other and then try selecting the face underneath to compare.
