Cool looking. He either has hair or tentacles. Or maybe he uses his tentacles to hide the fact he is bald. Or maybe this species of creatures have tentacles for hair. The creative possibilities are endless. Nicely done.

I'm going to go with - Tentacles for hair.  Like some emo teenage alien that was rebelling from its parents when it was captured.
Now it's thinking....oh boy, I should have listened to my parents.  They were right haha.

Keep up that learning.
Maybe when you learn more about materials you can add the ones you created rather than the Blendkit ones.
(Things always feel more special when you've made it yourself)
