I just want to point this silly thing I did because I overthink things but if you are like me maybe this will save you time. After the constraint section, where Wayne jokingly makes the crane clap like a seal because all 4 clamps moved while he appeared to manipulate one x Axis slider, I was thinking I missed a step on parenting or a constraint. Eventually after rewatching and noticing him mentioning the use of the ALT ket to simultaneously update the same property on several different objects at once, it clicked. I'm just slow sometimes.
