Weird shadows around mesh

Question Modeling

I want to have this end smooth for a cradle I am building, but I don't know how to fix these (Assuming) artifacts or these weird shadows around the mesh, how should I go about fixing these? I am making this for someone.

    HI TT3kos ,

    Not sure what you mean, but it could be, that your model is too low poly and you're trying to Shade it Smooth.

    It's like you take a default Cube, set it to Shade Smooth and expect a Sphere. The Shading Normals of that Cube will indeed be those of a sphere, but the Surface where tose Normals are doing their 'Sphere Shading' are around the Cubes corners, too far away from the surface of that sphere, if that m,akes sense. Adding a Subdivision Surface Modifier of Level 2, will probably make it a lot better.
