For the most part, when it comes to basics in Blender, so little has changed outside of interface changes going back to 2.8 (and one could even argue 2.6). You can always try following the tutorial and if you find something not quite like the way it says and you can figure out the change, you can ask about specific things here and we'll do our best to help point out the changes. But you can also get the 3.4 version from Blender if you want to use the same version of Blender used in the tutorial.
