Command X not working on Mac

Hello,

I am trying to use the command Dissolve Selected Bone(s) ⌘ X

It does not dissolve the bone. I press the shortcut and also right click and pick it from the pop up menu.

I am using V5.0.1

Anyone else having the same problem'

Thanks to anyone who has the time to reply.

That's probably a Mac specific problem. Really weird, that it doesn't work from the Menu either....You do have (a) Bone(s) Selected, right?

Let's hear what other Mac users say.

Looking forward to hearing from any Mac user.

And yes I have a bone selected and 2 bones selected.

    Thanks

What does it actually do Andrew?

Is there an error message - or it just does nothing but look smug.

    Hi Wayne,

It doesn't respond at all—no error message, nothing. It's as if I haven't pressed anything. The same issue occurs when I select the option from the menu. I encountered this problem with a previous tutorial and ended up doing it manually. However, this time I thought I'd reach out for assistance.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

can you record a video of this?
If you've found a bug it can be reported and fixed - but let's see what we're dealing with first

    Solution

I resolved my issue. Initially, I selected "Keep Offset" when parenting the bones, but I should have chosen "Connected." I can only dissolve the bones and merge them into one when they are connected.

Missed that on the video (33 Seconds in) Not a Mac problem.

    Thanks Everyone

    Andrew
