I agree that with a tablet is the ideal way, but it's an error to expect it to be the magic solution you've been waiting for. More likely you'll find yourself struggling to get good results with a pen and tablet as well. Kent makes it look easy, you look at him in the screen and you think, pfff I can totally do that. But nop, he just makes it look easy, and when you try to do what he does, you start to get frustrated because you can't do it as wells, but he has got years and years of sculpting practice. Like giving pen and paper to Pablo Picasso and an average Joe on the street, they both have the same tool, one can paint a masterpiece, the other can't draw even if his life depended on it. Truth is, Kent can get the same result with a mouse, he'll find it more cumbersome, but he'll make a graceful sculpt nonetheless. But yes, it's better to get a pen and tablet if you can, it's totally the way to sculpt.
