Does the introduction of Vulkan in current/future versions of Blender impact the advice in this course? Is there already or will there be a video discussing Vulkan? Thanks!
Vulkan is more an "under the hood" sort of thing... Like Martin says, it's more about how the UI interacts with the user to show the results of what the Blender code is doing. It may make certain things faster because it might be more streamlined on how the information is passed and might open up things like multithreaded processing, but the core of how you use Blender isn't changing at all. It'd kind of be like switching from a Google Pixel to a Samsung... there might be some differences, but most of those differences are behind the scenes.
