I got another 2 questions for ya.
1. How and would it be easy to solve the issues before copying and pasting the data from one foot to the other as mentioned about the mid 5 min mark?
2. Has blender fixed the one example of pasting a flipped version issue and that being the y loc channel with the extra long keyframe handle by 4.2 or 4.5?

1. In that specific case, you would need to make those 2 handles to vector before the mirror process.
I believe that if you leave it as aligned, when it flips it - it doesn't adjust the handle value because it's doing exactly as it is told.
2. I'm not sure. Try it to see.
