Thanks for the future versions tip!

While I totally agree that one should follow the course with the version it was recorded in, particularly in the beginning of a learning journey, when we are used to Blender already we tend not to follow this golden rule πŸ˜…

That said, and since Blender updates with a remarkable speed, I have to say I really appreciated the little side tip at the end about the new feature of the bump node.

I have seen more technical explanations about it before, but really liked how simple you made it sound. I actually feel like I know when to mess with that slider now. Thanks Sascha!

The version number conversation will always be tricky. Those particular changes just make a whole lot of sense to me and came out during production, so I figured it would be helpful to include. πŸ˜€

As much as I like technical explanations - at the end of the day I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe. And it's easier to remember in simple terms, at least for me. So I try to teach it that way too.
    Glad it's appreciated.

100% appreciated. Same here, love a good technical explanation, but it's so much easier when someone breaks it down in such an easier way. Can't forget it now.
